Calder and Lawson Tours Ltd is a sister company to Calder and Lawson House of Travel and originated with the purchase of the Travel & Learn Unit from the University of Waikato, part of the Centre for Continuing Education in 1997 Calder & Lawson Tours still works very closely with the University of Waikato as well as Calder & Lawson House of Travel, in the organising of the tours that concentrates on the concept of travelling to learn Due to the success of this "experiential” concept over twenty tours are offered and these have now been extended to also include specialised Walking Holidays , and a more fully inclusive Journeys tours as well as the highly successful Travel & Learn Tours. Travel & Learn Tours These tours are primarily designed for "retired kiwis”, who want to experience and learning about other cultures.
